Sony Apologizes For Christmas Outage With Discounts And Service Extensions

Sony is compensating PSN s for the Christmas outage with a five day extension and a onetime 10% discount in the PlayStation Store.

“We wanted to show our appreciation for your patience by offering all PlayStation Plus that had an active hip or free trial on December 25th a hip extension of five days,” said Sony Network Entertainment VP Eric Lempel.

Additionally, Sony will give affected s a onetime 10% discount towards the total cart purchase in the PlayStation Store. This discount can be used toward any content available on the PlayStation Store including games, add-ons, season es, TV shows and movies. It will be available later this month.
