         To use this editor copy these files to your Wizardry 7 game 
directory and run THE BAT FILE EDIT.BAT 

This editor took two weeks to create so if you like it PLEASE 
send a few bucks to cover the time spent to the address below.

Copy all the files to the direcory with the SAVEGAME.DBS file. 
If your save file has a different name then use your favorite 
ascii editor to change the file name in the edit.bat file.

The main way this editor works is it shows you the Total Hitpoints, 
or Total Spell points or Total gold. You adjust this number to what 
you want, and it adjusts what you character currently has to the 
maximum.

For Example: If a character can have up to 100 Hp, It show you 
HitPoints: 100. You adjust this number to 150 and the character 
will now have 150 HP out of 150 hitpoints. 

If you want the character to only have his max of 100 HPs. 
You load the editor, save and the program rewrite the current 
number of HP to equal whatever the maximum is.

This version will now let you edit everything, HP's, spellpoints, 
monsters killed, Gold, etc. 

COMMON ERRORS:
VERY IMPORTANT, READ THIS

1) Do not give your character too many points in skills, so that 
when your character gets promoted he/she can not distribute the 
points that you earn because you can only have 100 points in the 
Skills area and if you max out to 100 in all categories, you will 
not be able to give out points upon the prompt and the game will 
lock up in an endless loop.

2) In the attributes area: Do not go over 18 PLEASE!!! 
The game MIGHT give you a point later, and 19 or 20 is fine, but 
if you have a 20 and Crusaders decides to give you +1 point in 
an attribute the game will lock up.

3) DO NOT!!!! edit a chracter who is cursed, Stoned, poisioned, 
blinded or has any affliction.

Using the editor:
Load the editor using the .bat file EDIT.BAT           
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP OF SAVEGAME.DBS
The + and - keys add or subtract points to whichever area you 
are in. PG UP , PG DN scroll through your 6 party .
The the INS or insert keys to toggle between 1, 10, 100, 1000 
increments.

Hit S to save the file. 

Hit Q to quit!

Those who have tried Version 1.0 will notice MAJOR differences 
in the interface. I tried to keep the file as small as possible 
for long distance callers to . By doing so in version 
2.0 I eliminated the fancy graphic interface. I feel this program i
s good for now. I am working on a new one that will allow you to 
edit spells, items etc.. so if you have any suggestions LET ME KNOW!!!!!
